A little help, right here.
Camera permissions, missing location or a purchase to restore? Start with the answers below.
Talk to the person behind GPS Stamp.
GPS Stamp is published by Arash Sakian, based in Armenia. For a question, a bug or an idea, get in touch.
Write a message ↗The camera or GPS is unavailable.
Open iPhone Settings and check Camera and Location permissions for GPS Stamp. Enable precise location if you want the best available coordinates. Move to an open area and wait for an updated fix; location readings depend on the device and surroundings.
My imported photo has no GPS or time.
Some images have no embedded metadata. Review the time and location source when importing and choose an appropriate source. Current device location describes where you are stamping, not necessarily where the original photo was taken.
I cannot find a photo on the map.
Only records with a saved location can appear as photo pins. Check the job and photo record first. Map imagery may need internet access. Maps, approximate paths and areas do not replace professional measurements.
How do I restore Pro?
Use Restore purchases on the purchase screen or in Settings, with the Apple Account used to buy Pro. Confirm internet access. Pending purchases must finish with Apple before premium access appears. For billing or refunds, use Apple’s purchase support.
How do I move my records to another iPhone?
Create a local backup in Settings and save the backup package outside the app. On the destination device, use Restore from backup. Keep the original backup until you have checked that the restored photos and jobs are present.
Can I recover a deleted photo?
Open Recently Deleted in Settings. Records remain recoverable for up to 30 days unless permanently deleted. A copy you exported to Photos, Files or another service may still exist there.
Which export should I use?
Choose PDF for a readable job report, CSV for a table, KML or KMZ for compatible mapping software, GeoJSON for geographic data, or ZIP for a package of files. Job exports require Pro; individual photo sharing is available in Free.
What should I include in a bug report?
Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, what you tried and what happened. You can generate privacy-safe diagnostics in Settings and choose to attach them to an email. Avoid sending sensitive job photos or location information unless it is needed and you want to share it.
